It is essential that the characters in the MICR code line at the bottom of cheques is printed to specification with the characters correctly placed in the "boxes"
These MICR characters will be correctly placed at install time, however during usage these characters can move particularly after service intervention.
It is therefore sound operational practice to check the positioning of the characters in the MICR line.
The Alignment Gauge provides a simple but accurate method to easily observe if the characters are correctly placed.
The gauges are available for most types of cheques or vouchers including euro cheques. Any style can be made to order.
